#6606 MEDICATION VOLUME COMPARISON TO BIND PHOSPHATE

چکیده
Abstract Background and Aims Elevated phosphate concentrations are associated with a significantly increased risk of cardiovascular disease overall mortality in patients chronic kidney disease. Current Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) guidelines recommend lowering elevated serum phosphorus toward the normal range end-stage on dialysis through restriction dietary intake, increase clearance by dialysis, use binders. However, ∼75% not achieving concentrations, potentially due to low adherence and/or binders’ insufficient binding capacity match intake. A binder higher could improve control clinical outcomes. This study evaluated medication volume various binders bind 1 gram phosphorus. Methods Five were assessed: ferric citrate (210 mg iron), calcium acetate (667 acetate), lanthanum carbonate (500 1,000 lanthanum), sevelamer (800 carbonate), dioxycarbonate lanthanum). The mean daily dose g was calculated as per tablet multiplied number tablets taken day. dividing its vivo capacity, based NIH DailyMed website. Results Binding required 5.6 cm3 compared (19.8 cm3), (25.0 (46.5 (73.4 cm3) (Figure 1). Conclusion found that had lowest same amount other With high dioxycarbonate, novel investigational nanotechnology product, can be welcoming choice for manage their hyperphosphatemia. drug's decreased pill size (making it easy swallow) tolerability have potential control.

RFC 6606 6 LoWPAN Routing Requirements
This document provides the problem statement and design space for 6LoWPAN routing. It defines the routing requirements for 6LoWPANs, considering the low-power and other particular characteristics of the devices and links. The purpose of this document is not to recommend specific solutions but to provide general, layer-agnostic guidelines about the design of 6LoWPAN routing that can lead to furt...
متن کاملComparison Methods Phosphate Application to Ratoon Cane
Using a virgin Table Mountain Sandstone (Inanda series) soil with a low P status and high sorption capacity, a comparison of methods of superphosphate application to ratoon cane was carried out. By means of P-32 labelled superphosphate theuptake of fertilizer P by the plant was studied in first ratoon cane at intervals f rob 24 to 18 weeks after the date of treatment application. Uptake of labe...
متن کاملChicken and Xenopus mannose 6-phosphate receptors fail to bind insulin-like growth factor II.
The recent demonstration that a single mammalian receptor protein binds both mannose 6-phosphate (Man-6-P) and insulin-like growth factor II (IGF-II) with high affinity has suggested a multifunctional physiological role for this receptor, possibly including signal transduction. In order to better understand the functions of this receptor, we have investigated the properties of Man-6-P receptors...
متن کاملHomeodomain leucine zipper proteins bind to the phosphate response domain of the soybean VspB tripartite promoter.
The soybean (Glycine max L. Merr. cv Williams 82) genes VspA and VspB encode vacuolar glycoprotein acid phosphatases that serve as vegetative storage proteins during seed fill and early stages of seedling growth. VspB expression is activated by jasmonates (JAs) and sugars and down-regulated by phosphate and auxin. Previous promoter studies demonstrated that VspB promoter sequences between -585 ...
متن کاملA comparison study on corrosion behavior of zinc phosphate and potassium zinc phosphate anticorrosive pigments
In this article, the effect of potassium on structure and anticorrosion properties of zinc phosphate pigments has been investigated. The co-precipitation method was selected as synthesis method of potassium zinc phosphate pigment. Then the synthesized pigment was characterized by x-ray diffraction XRD, Fourier transform infrared FTIR and Raman spectroscopy. Morphology of the powders was investi...
